where am I? what is this? career objectives?
one of the things that I am always interested in is imagery. corporate or artistic, it does not really matter which. I love creating images and I love looking at them. I consume mass media culture at an alarming rate just to look at the images. I also love a good challenge. problems, creative or technical, fascinates me, giving me a chance to explore and expand my personal limits creatively and technically is always exciting. images and constantly changing problems are what drew me to the creative services in the first place, and I have been working in and around the field since I left high school. the creation of images is what drives me, and what drives the majority of my career decisions.
in the past a lot of the work I have done has been on a semi-professional basis. the occasional logo for a small business, a small brochure here, a poster for an art exhibition, these are the bulk of work I have done in the last four years while at University. I have also worked at times as a production assistant doing various grunt work. what I would really enjoy is moving forward into the professional realm of graphic and new media design. ultimately once I have built up a level of professional ability I would like to try to go it on my own, starting an advertising and media creation company, but that is a long way off down the road for me. for the moment, I am just interested in building up my professional standing in the design community.
